Open the AppOkCommuter is a carpooling app that connects drivers and passengers traveling similar routes for their daily commutes. It helps you save money on fuel, reduce traffic congestion, and lower your carbon footprint by sharing rides with trusted commuters.
When a driver posts a ride, OkCommuter calculates an estimated fuel cost based on the route distance and current fuel prices. This cost is split evenly among all passengers. The driver sets the final contribution amount, which should reflect a fair share of actual travel expenses. OkCommuter does not charge service fees to users.
Yes, downloading and using OkCommuter is free. Passengers pay a cost contribution directly to the driver to share fuel and travel expenses. OkCommuter does not add any service fees on top of the ride cost.
You can delete your account directly in the app under Account Settings. All your personal data will be removed within 30 days of deletion. Alternatively, you can email us at contact@okcommuter.com and we'll process your request.
If you experience any issue during a ride, please report it through the app immediately after the ride ends. You can also contact us at contact@okcommuter.com with details of the incident. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
OkCommuter is available on Android via the Google Play Store and as a web application at okcommuter.com/app. If you have an iPhone you can use the referred web application.
You can manage or permanently delete your OkCommuter account at any time. Deleting your account will remove all your personal data, ride history, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.
